Jacquelyn Li is an Associate Lawyer at Remedios Lawyers Law Corporation. After summering and completing her articles with Remedios & Company Law Corporation, Jacquelyn has decided to join Remedios Lawyers, where she continues to advise individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations across a broad range of corporate and commercial, real estate, and wills and estates matters.
Jacquelyn completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at the UBC Sauder School of Business before obtaining her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, she served as Associate Business Manager of the UBC Law Review and as a Clinic Head with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, where she developed practical advocacy skills while assisting members of the public with a wide range of legal matters.
Prior to attending law school, Jacquelyn worked as an accounting assistant and bookkeeper, providing her with a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and business operations. She also interned as a Review Officer with WorkSafeBC, where she adjudicated workers' compensation claims and gained valuable experience interpreting legislation, assessing evidence, and making administrative decisions.
Jacquelyn assists clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including business organizations, commercial transactions, corporate governance, commercial agreements, and commercial real estate. She also works closely with the firm's wills and estates team, assisting clients with estate planning, probate and estate administration, and succession planning. Drawing on both her legal and accounting background, Jacquelyn provides practical, detail-oriented advice tailored to the needs of businesses, families, and individuals.
Jacquelyn is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
