Daniel Shim has transitioned from his role as an External Counsel at Remedios & Company Law Corporation to an Associate Lawyer at Remedios Lawyers Law Corporation with our litigation team.
Daniel is a dual-licensed lawyer with more than five years of experience practising in British Columbia, Canada, and Washington, D.C., United States. He advises individuals, businesses, and organizations on a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters, including commercial disputes, employment matters, regulatory proceedings, professional liability, and other complex disputes. He works closely with the firm’s lawyers to develop litigation strategies, represent clients before the courts and administrative tribunals, and deliver practical, effective solutions.
Daniel earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from New York University. He also completed specialized studies in U.S. and International Anti-Corruption Law at the American University Washington College of Law, providing him with valuable cross-border and regulatory experience.
Fluent in both English and Korean, Daniel advises clients in both languages and regularly assists individuals and businesses from diverse cultural backgrounds. His ability to communicate across cultures enables him to provide practical, client-focused advice and effective representation.
Daniel works with the firm’s litigation team on matters and disputes, helping clients protect their interests and achieve practical outcomes.
