Grace Hou is an Associate Lawyer at Remedios Lawyers Law Corporation. After completing her articles with Remedios & Company Law Corporation, Grace has decided to join Remedios Lawyers, where she continues to assist individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations across a broad range of corporate and commercial, wills and estates, estate planning, and commercial real estate matters.
Grace obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of British Columbia before earning her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, her academic achievements were recognized through numerous scholarships and awards, including the prestigious UBC Marlee Kline JD Student Essay Prize, awarded to one Juris Doctor student from a graduating class of approximately 550 students at the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
Grace advises clients on a wide variety of commercial and business matters. She has experience assisting with complex commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, business structuring, reorganizations, financing transactions, and regulatory compliance. She works closely with businesses of all sizes, helping clients navigate commercial transactions with practical, strategic, and business-focused advice.
Grace also maintains an active practice in wills, estates, and succession planning. She regularly assists clients with probate and estate administration, wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, and comprehensive estate planning strategies designed to preserve and transfer wealth efficiently across generations.
In addition to her legal practice, Grace has participated in international trade and investment delegations involving complex mergers and acquisitions and cross-border commercial opportunities, providing her with valuable insight into international business and investment matters.
Grace is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
